Organic Cotton uses 87% less water than conventionally grown cotton and emits 45% less greenhouse gases. Conventional cotton is also notorious for using more pesticides than any other crop in the world. The use of these chemicals has led to the hospitalization of up to 1 million farmworkers every year. By using Organic Cotton, we keep the people we work with and the products we sell safe. Better for your body, better for the earth.
Low-impact dyes are known to be more eco-friendly as they do not use toxic chemicals. Also, they have a higher absorption rate, which means they require less water. Typical clothing manufacturing uses over 8,000 synthetic chemicals. Many of these chemicals are known to be carcinogenic and hazardous to our health. We believe that what you put on your skin matters.
Online orders are shipped with recycled paper mailers and boxes that are recyclable and made in Slovakia. We use a tape made of recycled paper only. Our “Thank you for your purchase” card is made of recycled paper as well.
